Want to learn Taiko?
Many of you may have seen the big drums in Japanese car company ads and commercials or even in Asian-themed movies. Now, you have a chance to learn how to play them yourself!
Beginner Classes, a series of weekly sessions:
In Cleveland Class are offered to groups of at least 10 participants. Minimum age: 9 years old. .
Place: Denison United Church of Christ, 9900 Denison Ave. Cleveland, OH.
Upcoming beginner class: Dates: Saturday February 2, 19, 16, and 23, 2008
Time: 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM Course Fee: $50 for four two hour sessions **10% discount for JACL members**
**$10 off for each additional family members** Please register by sending your name via e-mail to ichodaiko@gmail.com and a check for $50 made payable to JACL-Icho Daiko, Main PO Box 17, Oberlin OH 44074. Registration is required prior to the first day of class and will be cancelled without a minimum of at least 10 registrants
In Oberlin Class will be offered through Oberlin College Experimantal College course or upon request to a group of more than 10 participants.

Workshops, one [1] session only:
In Cleveland Icho Daiko offers beginner workshops for adults and youth (ages 10 and older please) upon request.
Place: Denison United Church of Christ, 9900 Denison Ave. Cleveland, OH
Cost: $25 for each session.
Registration is required prior to the day of workshop and will be cancelled without a minimum of at least 10 registrants!
In Oberlin Available for a group more than 10 upon request.
